Hello I’m Zahra and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

Art has always been part of my life, but it wasn’t until recently that I started sharing it with the world. What began as a personal escape – a way to slow down, clear my head and find peace – has grown into something I now want to offer others: a moment of stillness, joy and connection through coloured pencil art.

I work mainly with animals, flowers and the small wonders of nature. There’s something magical about capturing the hidden colours in fur or feathers, the glow of a petal in sunlight, or the delicate wings of a butterfly. For me, it’s not just about drawing what I see – it’s about noticing what others might overlook and bringing it to life with warmth and detail.

Living in Gosport, Hampshire, I often find inspiration in the changing light, coastal walks and the natural beauty around me. You’ll usually find me with a cup of tea nearby, sketchbook at hand and pencils scattered across my desk.

As I step into exhibitions and start taking on commissions, I’m both nervous and excited – it feels like a new chapter of my true dream. My hope is that when you see my work, it gives you a moment to pause, smile and perhaps remember something you love about the natural world too.
